- Step 2: In a mixing glass, combine 2 oz rye whiskey, 1/2 oz maple syrup, and 2 dashes Angostura bitters with ice, stirring for 30 seconds until well-chilled and slightly diluted.
- Step 3: Strain into the prepared glass and garnish with a lemon twist, expressing the oils over the drink as you place it on the rim.
