Apple Cinnamon Seasonal Cobbler

Ingredients
- 4 cups honeycrisp apples
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup cold butter
- 1/2 cup whole milk
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Peel, core, and slice 4 cups honeycrisp apples into 1/2-inch pieces.
- Step 2: Toss apples with 3/4 cup sugar, 1/4 cup all-purpose flour, 1 tsp cinnamon, 1 tbsp cornstarch, and 1 tbsp lemon juice. Transfer to a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Step 3: In a bowl, mix 1/2 cup all-purpose flour, 1 tsp baking powder, and 2 tbsp sugar.
- Step 4: Cut in 1/4 cup cold butter using a pastry cutter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Step 5: Stir in 1/2 cup whole milk until a soft dough forms.
- Step 6: Drop dough by spoonfuls over apple mixture.
- Step 7: Bake 45 minutes until topping is golden and filling bubbles around edges.
