Apple Cobbler with Oat Crumble Topping

- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F. Peel, core, and slice 6 medium Honeycrisp apples into 1/4-inch thick slices. In a large bowl, combine apples with 1/4 cup granulated sugar, 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, and 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg. Toss until evenly coated.
- Step 2: Transfer apple mixture to a 9x9-inch baking dish and spread evenly.
- Step 3: In a small bowl, mix 1/2 cup rolled oats, 1/4 cup all-purpose flour, 2 tablespoons granulated sugar, and 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon. Add 1/4 cup cold cubed unsalted butter and cut with a pastry cutter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
