  1. Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F. Cut horizontal pockets into each chicken breast. In a small bowl, combine 2 tbsp fresh basil, 1 tbsp fresh thyme, 2 minced garlic cloves, 1 tsp lemon zest, 1/2 tsp salt, and 1/4 tsp black pepper. Stuff mixture into pockets.
  2. Step 2: Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
  3. Step 3: Sear chicken for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
  4. Step 4: Transfer skillet to oven and bake 15-20 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
