Basil-Garnished Spritz

Ingredients
- 2 oz Aperol
- 3 oz Prosecco
- 1 oz Soda water
- 3 Fresh basil leaves
- 1/8 tsp Granulated sugar
- 1 Orange twist
Instructions
- Step 1: Place 3 fresh basil leaves and 1/8 tsp granulated sugar in a cocktail shaker. Muddle gently with a muddler until the basil releases its oils and the sugar dissolves (about 20 seconds).
- Step 2: Add 2 oz Aperol and 3 oz Prosecco to the shaker, then top with 1 oz soda water. Shake vigorously for 15 seconds until the shaker feels cold to the touch.
- Step 3: Strain into a chilled coupe glass filled with fresh ice, garnish with an orange twist, and serve immediately.
