Berry-Lemon Herbal Infusion Punch

Ingredients
- 2 cups, fresh or frozen mixed berries
- 3/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1/3 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon zest
- 5 cups chilled sparkling water
- 1/2 cup, finely chopped fresh basil leaves
- 1/4 cup, finely chopped fresh thyme sprigs
Instructions
- Step 1: In a large bowl, combine 2 cups mixed berries, 3/4 cup fresh lemon juice, 1/3 cup honey, and 2 tablespoons fresh lemon zest. Mash with a potato masher until the berries release juices and the mixture is smooth, about 3 minutes.
- Step 2: Stir in 1/2 cup finely chopped fresh basil leaves and 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh thyme sprigs. Let sit for 15 minutes to infuse the herbs.
- Step 3: Strain through a fine-mesh sieve into a large pitcher, pressing solids to extract all liquid. Discard solids.
- Step 4: Add 5 cups chilled sparkling water and stir well. Chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
- Step 5: Serve over ice, garnished with a fresh thyme sprig and lemon slice.
