- 4 cups Mixed berries
- 3/4 cup Granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup All-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup Rolled oats
- 1/4 cup Brown sugar
- 1/2 cup Unsalted butter
- 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp Salt
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). In a medium bowl, toss 4 cups mixed berries with 3/4 cup granulated sugar and 1/2 cup all-purpose flour until evenly coated.
- Step 2: Transfer the berry mixture to a 9x9-inch baking dish and spread into an even layer.
- Step 3: In a separate bowl, combine 1/2 cup rolled oats, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1/2 cup all-purpose flour, and 1/4 tsp salt. Add 1/2 cup cold cubed unsalted butter and use a pastry cutter to cut the butter into the dry ingredients until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Step 4: Sprinkle the crumb mixture evenly over the berries.
- Step 5: Bake for 35-40 minutes, until the topping is golden brown and the berries are bubbling around the edges.
- Step 6: Let cool for 15 minutes before serving to allow the filling to set.
