Bright Lemon-Dill Salmon with Asparagus

Ingredients
- 2 (6 oz each) salmon fillets
- 2 tbsp, chopped fresh dill
- 1, zested and juiced lemon
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 12 oz, trimmed asparagus
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Pat 2 (6 oz) salmon fillets dry with paper towels and place in a baking dish. Season with 1/2 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp black pepper.
- Step 2: In a small bowl, mix 2 tbsp olive oil, 2 tbsp chopped fresh dill, 1 tbsp lemon zest, and 2 tbsp lemon juice. Brush half of the mixture over the salmon fillets.
- Step 3: Place 12 oz trimmed asparagus around the salmon in the baking dish. Drizzle the remaining herb mixture over the asparagus and toss to coat.
- Step 4: Bake for 12-15 minutes until salmon is opaque throughout and asparagus is tender-crisp with slight char on edges.
