- 2 oz bourbon
- 0.75 oz grapefruit juice
- 0.5 oz fresh orange juice
- 0.5 oz honey syrup
- 3 leaves fresh mint leaves
- 1 strip charred citrus peel
Instructions
- Step 1: Char a 1-inch strip of grapefruit peel over an open flame for 15 seconds until blackened, then cool completely.
- Step 2: In a shaker, muddle mint leaves with honey syrup until fragrant. Add bourbon, grapefruit juice, orange juice, and charred peel.
- Step 3: Fill shaker with ice cubes to the brim and shake vigorously for 12 seconds until frosty.
- Step 4: Double-strain into a chilled rocks glass over a single large ice cube, then float the charred peel strip on top and garnish with a fresh mint sprig.
