Cinnamon Apple Sausage Patties

Ingredients
- 2 links (100g) Chicken sausage
- 1 small (100g) Apple
- 1/4 tsp Ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Black pepper
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
Instructions
- Step 1: Crumble chicken sausage links into a bowl. Core and dice apple into 1/4-inch cubes. Add to sausage along with 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon, 1/4 tsp salt, and 1/4 tsp black pepper.
- Step 2: Mix thoroughly until combined. Form mixture into 2 patties, each 3 inches in diameter and 1/2 inch thick.
- Step 3: Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add patties and cook for 3 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through.
- Step 4: Remove from heat and let rest for 2 minutes. Serve immediately with additional fresh thyme if desired.
