- Step 2: In a bowl, mix 1 cup rolled oats, 1/2 cup all-purpose flour, 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1/4 cup slivered almonds, and 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon. Add 1/4 cup cold cubed unsalted butter and use a pastry cutter to work it into the mixture until crumbly and pea-sized.
