Ingredients
- 2 oz gin
- 1 oz fresh lime juice
- 0.5 oz simple syrup
- 1/4 cup, peeled and diced cucumber
- 5 leaves fresh basil
- 4 oz soda water
- 2 cups ice
Instructions
- Step 1: In a cocktail shaker, add 1/4 cup peeled and diced cucumber, 5 fresh basil leaves, and 0.5 oz simple syrup. Muddle gently for 30 seconds until the cucumber is broken down and the basil releases its oils.
- Step 2: Add 2 oz gin, 1 oz fresh lime juice, and 1 cup ice cubes to the shaker. Shake vigorously for 15 seconds until well-chilled.
- Step 3: Strain into a chilled highball glass filled with 1 cup ice. Top with 4 oz soda water and stir gently to combine.
