Cumin-Spiced Salmon with Lemon-Dill Sauce

  1. Step 1: Pat 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each) dry with paper towels and rub with 1/2 tsp cumin, 1/4 tsp sea salt, and 1/4 tsp black pepper.
  2. Step 2: Heat 1 tbsp avocado oil in an ovenproof skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  3. Step 3: Sear salmon skin-side down for 4 minutes until golden brown, then flip and cook for 3 minutes more.
  4. Step 4: Squeeze juice from 1 lemon over salmon, then sprinkle with 2 tbsp finely chopped fresh dill.
  5. Step 5: Transfer skillet to a 400°F (200°C) oven and bake for 5 minutes until salmon is opaque and flakes easily.
