Dill-Crusted Lake-Style Salmon with Lemon-Dill Sauce

Ingredients
- 4 (6 oz each) salmon fillets
- 3 tbsp finely chopped fresh dill
- 1, zested and juiced lemon
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves, minced garlic
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup whole milk
- 1 tsp dried for sauce dill
Instructions
- Step 1: Pat salmon fillets dry with paper towels, then rub 1 tbsp dill, 1/2 lemon zest, and 1 tsp flour over both sides.
- Step 2: Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Place salmon skin-side down and cook for 4 minutes until golden, then flip and cook for 3 minutes more.
- Step 3: Remove salmon and keep warm. Add remaining 1 tbsp olive oil to the skillet, then add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Step 4: Stir in lemon juice, 1/4 cup milk, 1 tsp dried dill, and remaining lemon zest. Simmer for 2 minutes until sauce thickens slightly, then pour over salmon.
