Garlic-Steamed Shrimp with Cilantro Lime
Plump shrimp infused with garlic and fresh lime, steamed to perfection and finished with a zesty cilantro dressing.

Ingredients
- 1 lb, peeled and deveined Shrimp
- 4 cloves, minced Garlic
- 1/4 cup, chopped Cilantro
- 2, juiced Lime
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Black pepper
- for serving Lime wedges
Instructions
- Step 1: In a medium bowl, combine minced garlic, chopped cilantro, lime juice, 1 tbsp olive oil, 1/2 tsp salt, and 1/4 tsp black pepper. Add shrimp and toss to coat evenly. Marinate for 15 minutes at room temperature.
- Step 2: Place a steamer basket in a pot with 1 inch of water. Bring water to a rolling boil over medium-high heat.
- Step 3: Arrange marinated shrimp in a single layer in the steamer basket. Cover and steam for 5 minutes until shrimp turn pink and opaque.
- Step 4: Transfer shrimp to a serving dish. Drizzle with remaining 1 tbsp olive oil and serve immediately with lime wedges on the side.
