Ingredients
- 1 cup sweet rice flour
- 2 tbsp green tea powder
- 1 cup water
- 4 oz white chocolate
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
Instructions
- Step 1: In a medium bowl, whisk together 1 cup sweet rice flour and 2 tbsp green tea powder until fully combined.
- Step 2: Gradually add 1 cup water while stirring until a smooth, cohesive dough forms. Cover with plastic wrap and let rest for 15 minutes.
- Step 3: Transfer dough to a steamer basket lined with parchment paper. Steam over simmering water for 25 minutes, checking to ensure the pot doesn't boil dry.
- Step 4: After steaming, let dough cool for 10 minutes. Dust a surface with 2 tbsp cornstarch, roll dough into an 8x8-inch square, and cut into 8 rectangles.
- Step 5: Melt 4 oz white chocolate in a double boiler over simmering water, stirring until smooth. Drizzle over each mochi rectangle and let set at room temperature for 15 minutes.
