Herb-Garlic Chicken Ring with Lemon Zest

Ingredients
- 1 lb Boneless chicken breast
- 2 cloves, minced Garlic
- 1 tsp, finely chopped Fresh rosemary
- 1 tsp, finely chopped Fresh thyme
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Black pepper
- 1 tsp Lemon zest
Instructions
- Step 1: Place chicken breast between plastic wrap and pound to 1/2-inch thickness. Season both sides with 1/2 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp black pepper, 2 minced garlic cloves, 1 tsp rosemary, and 1 tsp thyme.
- Step 2: Roll chicken tightly from the shorter end into a ring shape, securing with toothpicks. Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
- Step 3: Sear chicken ring for 2-3 minutes per side until golden, then reduce heat to medium and cook for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until internal temperature reaches 165°F. Remove toothpicks, sprinkle with 1 tsp lemon zest, and serve immediately.
