Herb-Infused Chicken Ring with Lemon

Ingredients
- 1 boneless, skinless (8 oz), pounded to 1/2-inch thickness chicken breast
- 2 tbsp, finely chopped fresh rosemary
- 2 tbsp, finely chopped fresh thyme
- 1 tbsp lemon zest
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1, sliced into thin rounds lemon
Instructions
- Step 1: In a bowl, mix 2 tbsp finely chopped rosemary, 2 tbsp finely chopped thyme, 1 tbsp lemon zest, 1/2 tsp garlic powder, 1/2 tsp salt, and 1/4 tsp black pepper. Rub the mixture evenly over both sides of the chicken breast.
- Step 2: Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Place the chicken breast in the skillet and cook for 5-6 minutes per side, until golden and cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F).
- Step 3: Transfer the chicken to a plate and arrange 1 lemon, sliced into thin rounds, around the chicken ring.
