  1. Step 1: In a large pitcher, combine 1/2 cup peeled and thinly sliced fresh ginger, 2 sliced lemons, 1 sliced lime, 1/2 cup fresh mint leaves, and 1/4 cup fresh basil. Add 4 cups cold water and 1/2 cup honey, stirring until the honey dissolves completely.
  2. Step 2: Cover the pitcher and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld.
  3. Step 3: Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a clean pitcher, pressing gently on the solids to extract all liquid. Discard the solids.
  4. Step 4: Stir in 1/4 cup fresh lime juice until fully incorporated. Add 2 cups sparkling water and gently stir. Serve over ice in chilled glasses.
