  2. Step 2: In a mixing glass, combine 2 oz rye whiskey, 0.5 oz honey syrup, and 3 dashes Peychaud's bitters. Add ice and stir gently for 30 seconds until well-chilled and diluted.
  3. Step 3: Strain into the prepared glass. Express the oils from a lemon twist over the drink by twisting it above the glass, then drop the twist into the drink.
