Ingredients
- 2 oz Rye whiskey
- 0.5 oz Honey syrup
- 3 dashes Peychaud's bitters
- 0.25 oz Absinthe
- 1 Lemon twist
Instructions
- Step 1: Rinse a chilled rocks glass with 0.25 oz absinthe, swirling to coat the interior, then discard the excess.
- Step 2: In a mixing glass, combine 2 oz rye whiskey, 0.5 oz honey syrup, and 3 dashes Peychaud's bitters. Add ice and stir gently for 30 seconds until well-chilled and diluted.
- Step 3: Strain into the prepared glass. Express the oils from a lemon twist over the drink by twisting it above the glass, then drop the twist into the drink.
