Honey-Roasted Pear and Thyme Tart

Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup, cubed cold butter
- 2 tbsp ice water
- 2, thinly sliced pear
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp, chopped fresh thyme
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp, melted butter
Instructions
- Step 1: For the crust, mix 1 cup all-purpose flour and 1/4 cup granulated sugar in a food processor. Add 1/2 cup cubed cold butter and pulse until crumbly. Gradually add 2 tbsp ice water until the dough comes together. Press into a 9-inch tart pan and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Step 2: Preheat oven to 375°F. Arrange 2 thinly sliced pears over the chilled crust. Drizzle with 2 tbsp honey and sprinkle with 1 tbsp chopped fresh thyme.
- Step 3: Bake for 25-30 minutes until the pears are tender and the crust is golden brown. Brush the top with 1 tbsp melted butter while still warm, then let cool for 15 minutes before slicing.
