- 4 (1 inch thick) pork chops
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1/4 cup apple cider
- 1 cup diced apples
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1/2 tsp thyme
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Step 1: Season 4 pork chops with 1/4 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp black pepper. Heat a skillet over medium-high and add 1 tbsp butter. Cook chops for 4-5 minutes per side until golden and internal temperature reaches 145°F.
- Step 2: Remove chops and set aside. Add 1 cup diced apples and 1/4 cup apple cider to the skillet, cooking for 5 minutes until apples soften. Stir in 2 tbsp honey and 1/2 tsp thyme until syrupy.
- Step 3: Return pork chops to the skillet, spooning apple compote over them. Simmer for 2 minutes to coat, then serve immediately.
