Jet-Stream Salmon

Pan-seared salmon fillets with a light lemon-dill sauce.

  1. Step 1: Season 2 salmon fillets (6 oz each) with 1/2 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp pepper.
  2. Step 2: Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down and cook for 4 minutes until golden.
  3. Step 3: Flip the salmon and cook for 3-4 minutes more until cooked through.
  4. Step 4: Remove the salmon and set aside. Add 1 minced garlic clove and 2 tbsp chopped fresh dill to the skillet, stirring for 30 seconds.
  5. Step 5: Pour in 2 tbsp white wine and simmer for 1 minute to reduce.
  6. Step 6: Add 1 tbsp butter and stir until melted. Return the salmon to the skillet, spooning the sauce over it.
  7. Step 7: Garnish with 1 sliced lemon and additional dill.
