  1. Step 1: Pat salmon fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides with 1/4 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp black pepper.
  2. Step 2: Heat 1 tbsp butter in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat until melted and shimmering (about 1 minute).
  3. Step 3: Place salmon skin-side down in the skillet and cook without moving for 5-6 minutes until skin is crispy and golden.
  4. Step 4: Flip salmon and cook for 3-4 minutes until internal temperature reaches 125°F (52°C) for medium-rare.
  5. Step 5: Remove salmon from skillet and set aside. Add remaining 1 tbsp butter, lemon slices, and 1 tbsp chopped dill to the skillet, stirring until butter melts and lemon slices soften (about 1 minute).
  6. Step 6: Pour lemon-dill butter sauce over salmon and serve immediately.
