Lemon-Dill Salmon with Asparagus Sauté

Ingredients
- 2 (6 oz each), skin-on salmon fillets
- 1 bunch, trimmed asparagus
- 1, zested and juiced lemon
- 2 tbsp, chopped fresh dill
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 clove, minced garlic
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Step 1: Pat salmon fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper. Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Step 2: Place salmon skin-side down in skillet and cook undisturbed for 5 minutes until skin is crisp and golden.
- Step 3: Flip salmon, add asparagus to skillet, and cook for 4 minutes until asparagus is tender-crisp and salmon reaches 125°F internally.
- Step 4: Remove salmon and asparagus from skillet. Add remaining 1 tbsp olive oil, minced garlic, and lemon zest to skillet, cooking for 30 seconds until aromatic. Stir in lemon juice and 2 tbsp chopped dill, then pour sauce over salmon and asparagus.
