Lemon-Thyme Baked Chicken Breast

Ingredients
- 4, boneless and skinless (6 oz each) chicken breast
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1, zested and juiced lemon
- 2 tsp, dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup, chopped parsley
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Place 4 chicken breasts in a baking dish and drizzle with 2 tbsp olive oil.
- Step 2: Sprinkle 1 lemon zest, 2 tsp dried thyme, 1/2 tsp salt, and 1/4 tsp black pepper evenly over the chicken. Rub to coat thoroughly.
- Step 3: Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) when measured with a meat thermometer.
- Step 4: Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes. Squeeze juice from 1 lemon over the chicken and sprinkle with 1/4 cup chopped parsley before serving.
