Maple-Balsamic Glazed Brussels Sprouts with Walnuts

- 1.5 lbs, trimmed and halved Brussels sprouts
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 cup, roughly chopped walnuts
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 425°F. Toss halved Brussels sprouts with 1 tbsp olive oil, 1/4 tsp salt, and 1/8 tsp black pepper on a baking sheet.
- Step 2: Roast for 20-25 minutes, stirring once halfway, until sprouts are tender and browned around the edges.
- Step 3: While sprouts roast, whisk maple syrup, balsamic vinegar, and 1 tsp water in a small bowl until combined.
- Step 4: Remove sprouts from oven, drizzle with maple-balsamic mixture, and toss to coat evenly. Return to oven for 5 minutes to caramelize.
- Step 5: Transfer to a serving dish, sprinkle with toasted walnuts, and season with an additional pinch of salt if needed.
