Ingredients
- 2 oz Rye whiskey
- 1/2 oz Pure maple syrup
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
- 2 dashes Orange bitters
- 1/2 oz Absinthe
- for garnish Lemon twist
Instructions
- Step 1: Rinse a chilled coupe glass with 1/2 oz absinthe, swirling to coat the interior, then discard excess.
- Step 2: In a mixing glass, combine 2 oz rye whiskey, 1/2 oz pure maple syrup, 2 dashes Angostura bitters, and 2 dashes orange bitters. Add a handful of ice cubes and stir for 25 seconds until frosty and well-chilled.
- Step 3: Strain into the prepared glass over a single ice cube and garnish with a lemon twist.
