Mini Brik with Herb-Infused Egg

  1. Step 1: Preheat a skillet over medium heat. Brush lightly with vegetable oil to prevent sticking.
  2. Step 2: Place one phyllo sheet on a clean surface. Brush with melted butter, sprinkle with 1/8 tsp flour, and fold in half to form a rectangle.
  3. Step 3: Mix 1 egg, 1 tbsp parsley, 1/2 tbsp dill, salt, and pepper. Place a small spoonful of filling in the center of the folded phyllo.
  4. Step 4: Fold the phyllo over the filling to form a triangle, sealing edges by pressing gently. Repeat with remaining sheets and filling.
  5. Step 5: Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet to 350°F (175°C). Fry brik triangles until golden brown on both sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  6. Step 6: Drain on paper towels before serving.
