Miso-Glazed Chicken with Sesame and Ginger

Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs Chicken thighs, bone-in, skin-on
- 3 tbsp White miso paste
- 2 tbsp Rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp Honey
- 1 tbsp Sesame oil
- 1 tbsp Ginger, grated
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp Sesame seeds
- 2 tbsp Green onions, sliced
Instructions
- Step 1: In a small bowl, whisk together 3 tbsp white miso paste, 2 tbsp rice vinegar, 1 tbsp honey, 1 tbsp sesame oil, 1 tbsp grated ginger, and 2 minced garlic cloves until smooth.
- Step 2: Pat 1.5 lbs chicken thighs dry with paper towels. Place in a baking dish and brush with the miso glaze, coating all sides evenly.
- Step 3: Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for 25-30 minutes until chicken is golden and internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Step 4: While chicken bakes, toast 1 tbsp sesame seeds in a dry skillet over medium heat for 2-3 minutes until golden and fragrant.
- Step 5: After baking, sprinkle toasted sesame seeds and 2 tbsp sliced green onions over the chicken and serve immediately.
