Miso-Glazed Tofu with Steamed Broccoli and Carrots

Ingredients
- 1 block (14 oz), pressed and sliced into 1/2-inch thick pieces extra-firm tofu
- 2 tablespoons white miso paste
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 2 cups, cut into florets broccoli
- 1 cup, thinly sliced carrots
- 1 teaspoon, for garnish sesame seeds

Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat a skillet over medium heat. In a small bowl, whisk together 2 tablespoons white miso paste, 1 tablespoon rice vinegar, 1 teaspoon maple syrup, and 1 teaspoon sesame oil to form a glaze.
- Step 2: Place 1 block (14 oz) pressed and sliced extra-firm tofu in the skillet and cook for 5 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Step 3: Brush the miso glaze over the tofu and cook for an additional 2 minutes to set the glaze.
- Step 4: Steam 2 cups broccoli florets and 1 cup thinly sliced carrots for 8-10 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Step 5: Serve the glazed tofu over the steamed vegetables, garnished with 1 teaspoon sesame seeds.
