Ingredients
- 1.5 oz rye whiskey
- 0.25 oz white miso paste
- 0.75 oz fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 oz egg white
- 0.25 oz maple syrup
Instructions
- Step 1: In a shaker, combine rye whiskey, miso paste, lemon juice, and maple syrup. Shake without ice for 10 seconds to dissolve miso.
- Step 2: Add egg white and fill shaker with ice cubes to the brim. Dry shake vigorously for 15 seconds to emulsify.
- Step 3: Add ice again and shake hard for 20 seconds until chilled and frothy.
- Step 4: Strain into a chilled coupe glass, then garnish with a single lemon twist expressed over the top to release oils and rest on the rim.
