Mushroom and Spinach Sauté with Bacon
Crispy bacon paired with earthy mushrooms and wilted spinach, seasoned simply with garlic for a quick, protein-rich breakfast.

Ingredients
- 2 slices (30g) Bacon
- 1 cup (100g) Mushrooms
- 2 cups (60g) Spinach
- 2 cloves Garlic
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Black pepper
Instructions
- Step 1: Cut bacon into 1/2-inch pieces. Place in a cold skillet and cook over medium heat for 5 minutes until crisp. Remove bacon with a slotted spoon and set aside.
- Step 2: Add 1 tbsp olive oil to the skillet with bacon fat. Add sliced mushrooms and cook for 3 minutes until tender and golden.
- Step 3: Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant, stirring constantly.
- Step 4: Add 2 cups fresh spinach and cook for 2 minutes until wilted. Season with 1/4 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp black pepper.
- Step 5: Stir in cooked bacon and cook for 1 more minute. Remove from heat and serve immediately.
