One-Pan Sausage and Bell Pepper Stir-Fry with Onions

Ingredients
- 12 oz, sliced into 1/2-inch rounds smoked sausage
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 (1 red, 1 green), sliced into thin strips bell peppers
- 1 large, sliced onion
- 3 cloves, minced garlic
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- pinch salt
- pinch black pepper
Instructions
- Step 1: Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in large skillet over medium-high heat. Add 12 oz smoked sausage (sliced) and cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned on all sides.
- Step 2: Add 2 bell peppers (sliced into thin strips) and 1 large onion (sliced) to skillet. Stir-fry 5 minutes until vegetables are crisp-tender.
- Step 3: Add 3 garlic cloves (minced), 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes, and 1/4 cup chicken broth to skillet. Cook 2 minutes until broth reduces slightly.
- Step 4: Stir in 1 tbsp soy sauce, then season with pinch salt and black pepper. Cook 1 more minute until sauce thickens slightly and coats ingredients evenly.
