Ingredients
- 12 oz Ground beef
- 4 oz Ground pork
- 1/2 cup Onion
- 1 large Egg
- 1/2 cup Bread crumbs
- 1 tbsp Fresh dill
- 1 clove Garlic
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Black pepper
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 2 tbsp Heavy cream
- 1 tbsp Lemon juice
Instructions
- Step 1: In a large bowl, combine 12 oz ground beef, 4 oz ground pork, 1/2 cup finely chopped onion, 1 large egg, 1/2 cup bread crumbs, 1 tbsp fresh dill, 1 minced garlic clove, 1/2 tsp salt, and 1/4 tsp black pepper. Mix gently until just combined, avoiding overmixing.
- Step 2: Form the mixture into 16 small meatballs (about 1 inch in diameter) and place on a plate.
- Step 3: Heat 2 tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the meatballs and cook for 4-5 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden brown and cooked through.
- Step 4: While meatballs cook, whisk together 2 tbsp heavy cream, 1 tbsp lemon juice, and 1 tbsp fresh dill in a small bowl.
- Step 5: Once meatballs are done, pour the cream mixture into the skillet and simmer for 2 minutes until slightly thickened. Transfer meatballs to a serving plate and spoon sauce over them. Garnish with extra dill.
