  1. Step 1: Pat 6 chicken thighs dry with paper towels and season with 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper on both sides.
  2. Step 2: Heat 2 tablespoons butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat until melted and shimmering.
  3. Step 3: Place chicken thighs skin-side down in the skillet, pressing gently to ensure even contact. Cook for 5-6 minutes until skin is golden brown and crispy.
  4. Step 4: Flip chicken and cook for 7-8 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and meat is no longer pink.
  5. Step 5: Remove chicken from skillet and set aside. Add 2 minced garlic cloves and 1 tablespoon fresh thyme to the skillet, stirring for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  6. Step 6: Stir in 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, return chicken to skillet, and spoon butter mixture over the top.
