Pan-Seared Lemon-Dill Chicken with Garlic

Ingredients
- 4 (6 oz each) chicken breasts
- 1 (zested and juiced) lemon
- 3 tbsp finely chopped dill
- 4 cloves minced garlic
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Step 1: Pat chicken breasts dry with paper towels; season both sides with 1 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp black pepper.
- Step 2: Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering. Add chicken breasts and cook undisturbed for 5 minutes until golden brown.
- Step 3: Flip chicken, add 2 minced garlic cloves and 1 tbsp lemon zest to the skillet, and cook for 4-5 minutes until chicken reaches 165°F internally and garlic is fragrant.
- Step 4: Remove chicken from skillet; pour 2 tbsp lemon juice and 2 tbsp chopped dill into the pan, stirring to deglaze. Simmer for 1 minute until slightly thickened.
- Step 5: Return chicken to skillet, spoon sauce over top, and cook for 1 minute to coat. Garnish with remaining dill.
