Pan-Seared Salmon with Dill Lemon

Ingredients
- 1.5 lb, skin-on salmon fillets
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1, thinly sliced lemon
- 2 tbsp, chopped fresh dill
- 2 cloves, minced garlic
- 1/4 cup white wine
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Step 1: Pat 1.5 lb salmon fillets dry with paper towels; season both sides with 1/2 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp black pepper.
- Step 2: Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering. Place salmon skin-side down and cook for 6 minutes until skin is crisp and golden.
- Step 3: Flip salmon and cook 4 more minutes until opaque and flaky. Remove salmon to a plate and cover loosely with foil.
- Step 4: In the same skillet, add 2 minced garlic cloves and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant. Stir in 1/4 cup white wine and 1 sliced lemon, simmering for 2 minutes until slightly reduced.
- Step 5: Stir in 2 tbsp chopped fresh dill, then pour sauce over salmon immediately before serving.
