Ingredients
- 8 ounces Sea scallops
- 2 teaspoons Olive oil
- 1 tablespoon Unsalted butter
- 1/4 Lemon
- 1 teaspoon Fresh dill
- 10 ounces Green beans
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt
- 1/8 teaspoon Black pepper
Instructions
- Step 1: Pat 8 ounces sea scallops dry with paper towels and season with 1/4 teaspoon salt and 1/8 teaspoon black pepper.
- Step 2: Heat 2 teaspoons olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Step 3: Add scallops and sear without moving for 2-3 minutes until golden brown, then flip and cook another 2-3 minutes until opaque.
- Step 4: Transfer scallops to a plate. Add 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, 1/4 teaspoon lemon zest, and 1 tablespoon lemon juice to skillet, stirring until melted.
- Step 5: Add 10 ounces green beans to skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Step 6: Return scallops to skillet, toss to coat in sauce, and sprinkle with 1 teaspoon chopped fresh dill.
