Pan-Seared Sea Bass with Aperol-Orange Glaze

Ingredients
- 12 oz Sea bass fillets
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 1/4 cup Aperol
- 2 tbsp Fresh orange juice
- 1 tsp Thyme leaves
- 1 tsp Lemon zest
Instructions
- Step 1: Pat sea bass fillets dry with paper towels and season lightly with salt and pepper.
- Step 2: Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering, then add fillets skin-side down and sear for 4 minutes until golden.
- Step 3: Flip fillets and pour 1/4 cup Aperol and 2 tbsp fresh orange juice into the skillet, then add 1 tsp lemon zest and 1 tsp thyme leaves.
- Step 4: Simmer for 2 minutes, basting occasionally until the glaze reduces slightly and coats the fish, then transfer to a plate.
