Rich Chocolate Fudge Brownies

- 1 cup, chopped unsweetened chocolate
- 1/2 cup, melted butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8x8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Step 2: Melt 1/2 cup melted butter and 1 cup chopped unsweetened chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring until smooth. Let cool slightly.
- Step 3: In a large bowl, beat 1 cup granulated sugar and 2 large eggs until light and fluffy. Stir in 1 tsp vanilla extract.
- Step 4: Add the cooled chocolate mixture to the egg mixture, stirring until combined.
- Step 5: Sift together 1/2 cup all-purpose flour and 1/4 tsp salt, then add to the bowl and mix until just combined.
- Step 6: Fold in 1/2 cup chocolate chips.
- Step 7: Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top. Bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs.
