Roshogolla-Style Chhena Poda
A melt-in-the-mouth Bengali dessert made with fresh cottage cheese, sugar, and cardamom, finished with a delicate caramelized crust.

Ingredients
- 1 cup, crumbled cottage cheese
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tbsp ghee
Instructions
- Step 1: In a bowl, mix crumbled cottage cheese, sugar, cardamom powder, and cornstarch until well combined.
- Step 2: Add milk and knead for 2 minutes until a smooth, pliable dough forms.
- Step 3: Shape dough into 12 small balls (about 1.5 inches in diameter) and place them on a greased baking sheet.
- Step 4: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Melt ghee in a small pan and brush lightly over the dough balls.
- Step 5: Bake for 18-20 minutes until golden brown on top and firm to the touch. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
