Sautéed Peppers with Garlic and Thyme

  2. Step 2: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering. Add peppers and cook for 8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they begin to soften and develop slight char marks.
  3. Step 3: Add minced garlic and thyme, stirring constantly for 1 minute until fragrant. Remove from heat, then stir in lemon zest, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 30 seconds more until flavors combine and oil is infused with herbs.
