Sautéed Salmon with Lemon-Garlic Asparagus
Pan-seared salmon fillets with a vibrant lemon-garlic sauce and perfectly roasted asparagus spears for a light yet satisfying meal.

Ingredients
- 4 (6 oz each) salmon fillets
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 lemon
- 2 tbsp fresh dill
- 2 cloves garlic
- 12 oz asparagus
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Step 1: Pat 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each) dry with paper towels and season evenly with 1/2 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp black pepper on both sides.
- Step 2: Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Place salmon skin-side down and cook for 4-5 minutes until golden brown. Flip and cook for 3-4 minutes until cooked through. Transfer to a plate and tent with foil.
- Step 3: Add remaining 1 tbsp olive oil to the skillet. Add 2 minced garlic cloves and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant. Stir in juice and zest of 1 lemon, then add 2 tbsp chopped fresh dill.
- Step 4: Add 12 oz trimmed asparagus to the skillet, season with 1/4 tsp salt and 1/8 tsp black pepper, and cook for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender-crisp with slight char.
- Step 5: Serve salmon with lemon-garlic sauce spooned over top and roasted asparagus on the side.
