  1. Step 1: Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add 3 minced garlic cloves and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant, avoiding browning.
  2. Step 2: Add 1 lb peeled and deveined shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque; remove shrimp from skillet and set aside.
  3. Step 3: Add 1 cup halved cherry tomatoes to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes until softened and juicy.
  4. Step 4: Return shrimp to skillet, add 1 tbsp lemon juice, 1/4 cup chopped basil, 1/2 tsp salt, and 1/4 tsp black pepper. Toss for 1 minute until heated through.
