Savory Tarragon Chicken with Lemon-Dill Sauce

Ingredients
- 4 (6 oz each), pounded to 1-inch thickness chicken breasts
- 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1, zested and juiced lemon
- 2 tbsp, chopped dill
- 1 tbsp, chopped tarragon
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Step 1: Season chicken breasts evenly with salt and pepper, then coat in 3 tbsp all-purpose flour, shaking off excess.
- Step 2: Melt 2 tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F, then transfer to a plate and tent with foil.
- Step 3: Reduce heat to medium, add remaining 1 tbsp butter to skillet, then stir in lemon zest, lemon juice, 2 tbsp chopped dill, and 1 tbsp chopped tarragon, cooking for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Step 4: Stir in 1/2 cup heavy cream and simmer for 3 minutes until slightly thickened, then return chicken to pan to coat. Simmer 2 more minutes.
