  1. Step 1: In a shaker without ice, combine 1.5 oz Scotch whiskey, 1 oz smoked maple syrup, and 3/4 oz fresh lemon juice, shaking briefly to combine.
  2. Step 2: Add 1/2 oz egg white and ice to the shaker, then dry-shake vigorously for 10 seconds to emulsify the egg white.
  3. Step 3: Add fresh ice and shake again for 15 seconds until well-chilled, then strain into a chilled coupe glass. Sprinkle a pinch of smoked sea salt on top for an aromatic finish.
