  1. Step 1: Rinse a chilled rocks glass with 1/4 oz absinthe, then discard the excess. Place 1 sugar cube in the glass and add 2 dashes Angostura bitters.
  2. Step 2: Muddle the sugar and bitters for 30 seconds until the sugar dissolves, scraping the glass sides.
  3. Step 3: Add 2 oz bourbon and fill the glass with ice cubes. Stir for 45 seconds until the glass frosts and the drink is chilled.
  4. Step 4: Strain into the prepared glass, top with 1 dash orange bitters, and garnish with a lemon twist.
