Spiced Puffed Rice Snack with Peanuts

Ingredients
- 4 cups Puffed rice
- 1/2 cup, roasted and unsalted Peanuts
- 2, finely chopped Green chilies
- 1 tsp Cumin seeds
- 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric
- 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 tbsp Lemon juice
Instructions
- Step 1: Heat 2 tbsp vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add 1/2 tsp mustard seeds and 1 tsp cumin seeds, and cook for 1 minute until they start to pop.
- Step 2: Add 2 finely chopped green chilies and 1/4 tsp turmeric, and stir for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Step 3: Add 4 cups puffed rice and 1/2 cup roasted peanuts, and toss well to coat with the spices. Cook for 3 minutes, stirring constantly, until the puffed rice is lightly toasted.
- Step 4: Stir in 1/2 tsp salt and 1 tbsp lemon juice. Cook for 1 more minute, then remove from heat.
- Step 5: Transfer to a serving bowl and let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
